Other items to be aware of:
1) We allow a maximum of 20 participants per tour. We are firm on this policy. With regards to large groups, first preference is given to the Experience Iowa State (EIS) program. Participants in the EIS program or who are planning a visit to the university via Campus Visits (coordinated through Undergraduate Admissions) who are interested in visiting the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) while they are visiting the university should inform the Admissions Office that they wish to have a tour of the CVM. We will work directly with the Undergraduate Admissions Office to coordinate the two visits.
2) Tours are provided for prospective students (middle school, high school, undergraduate and post graduate). Tours are not provided for elementary age and younger visitors. These visitors are encouraged to visit the College during VEISHEA (April 17, 2010) where there are more age appropriate activities and demonstrations for these visitors.
2) Please submit your request at least 5 working days prior to the requested tour date.
3) Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time. If you are unable to make your scheduled tour, please call Dr. Monica Howard (515-294-0391) or Ms. Brenda Cousins (515-294-5337) to let us know that you will NOT be coming.
